It’s all about perspective. When Ben Eager scores the third goal of the game between both teams (and it’s within the third minute of the game and it’s on an assist from Lennart Petrell), you know things are going to be interesting. The Oilers opened this one with a thud, allowing two Maple Leaf goals in the first 98 seconds. And, as many Leaf fans are fine, upstanding citizens, a whole bunch of them inside RX1 isn’t much of a good time for the rest of the good guys. Then Eager has his goal, and it’s 2-1 for the remainder of the first period. There are good times, and there are other atrocities ahead after the jump. Bring a boat.
